The Superintendent’s Honors Music Festival chose four students from Miami Lakes K-8 Center to perform at events held Miami Senior High School during the first week in April.  Grace Mazzorana, a 5th grader, sang with the Elementary Chorus at Miami Senior High School. Miami Lakes Middle School students won 1st Place in the drama competition held at the Miami-Dade County Fair & Exposition. The students performed numbers from a variety of Broadway musicals and popular films.     Ethan Vergara and Azakin Sejour won Florida High School Athletic Association state wrestling championships in Kissimmee to lead a strong showing by the boys and girls teams from Mater Lakes Academy back in March.
