Mater Lakes Academy golfer Gia Culler Guerra was named to the Miami Herald’s All-Dade First Team for the 2019-2020 season. Gia earned the honor by finishing in 7th place overall in the Florida High School Athletic Association state championship on Nov. 2, according to the Herald. Mater Lakes Academy boys soccer team won the 2019-2020 4A-D15 district title with a 17-5 record. It’s the second consecutive season that the team took the title.
