Annual shoe drive begins for Camillus House

The Town of Miami Lakes has partnered with Loving Soles since 2013 to collect shoes for impoverished residents of Camillus House in downtown Miami, Town Clerk Gina Inguanzo said in a press statement. Two local high schools welcomed new principals at the start of 2020. Hialeah-Miami Lakes Senior High School brought Alexander Santoyo on board, and Miami Lakes Educational Center and Technical College welcomed Yaset Fernandez, both in the first week of January.
