The 2014 Miami Lakes Women Event is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, from 6 to 11 p.m., at The Limelight Shop, 6709 Main Street. The event is free and open to the general public.
The main theme is “Fashion and Beauty” with makeup tips, “before and after” applications, followed by a women’s fashion show at 9 p.m. Attendees will be treated to complimentary appetizers and more as they visit “Table Boutiques” with a variety of merchant’s products and services.
Guests are encouraged to sign up for all the raffles and giveaways including Spa and Massage Treatments, Detox Cleansing, Skin Care products, quality fragrances, vitamins and energy supplements, and fitness and workout tips.
The event includes “A Little Princess On-Stage Parade” for girls ages 2 to 10. It is not a pageant and all participants are winners and receive a trophy. The girls will wear their “favorite princess outfit” or “I feel like a princess” dress.
Miami Dade College student Vanessa Tello, a member of the Chanel Prada Promotional Events production team, said, “The learning experience I receive working side by side with these wonderful ladies is why I am grateful to be part of this fashion event. My friends and family always attend as they enjoy meeting the merchants and checking out all the trendy merchandise.”
