2020 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday
The 2020 Disaster Preparedness Sales Tax Holiday is scheduled for items purchased between Friday, May 29 and Thursday, June 4.

Below are items that qualify for the sales tax exemption:

Reusable ice packs (that sell for $10 or less);

Portable light sources powered by batteries, solar, hand-crank, or gas ($20 or less);

Candles, flashlights or lanterns ($25 or less):

Any gas or diesel fuel container, including for LP gas or kerosene ($30 or less):

Batteries, including rechargeable in sizes AAA; AA; C; D; 6-volt; 9-volt ($30 or less)

Coolers and ice chests for food storage ($30 or less)

Bungee cords, ground anchor systems, radios powered by batteries, solar or hand-crank ($50 or less)

Ratchet straps, tarps, tie-down kits, weatherproof sheeting ($50 or less)

Portable generators for light, communications or to preserve food during a power outage ($750 or less)
