36th annual Veteran's Day Parade steps off Nov. 8

Miami Lakes announced the 36th annual Miami Lakes Veteran’s Day Parade will step off at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 8. Parade participants will include the Grand Marshall, Town Council, veterans from all branches, bands from local high schools, sports clubs, a variety of scouting units, and Miami Lakes’ residents.

The parade will follow the same route that was introduced last year. The route begins at the corner of Bull Run and Ludlam Roads (N.W. 67 Avenue), and then heads south on Ludlam Road to pass the Grandstand location at Main Street. The parade will move east on Eagle Nest Lane and disband at Town Hall, 6601 Main Street.

Ludlam Road will be closed between Miami Lakeway North and Miami Lakes Drive from 6:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. The alternate route for through traffic on Ludlam Road will run through Miami Lakeway North for southbound and northbound travel.
