Say hello to Mickey, who is new in town!
This “Pomchi” boy is a mix of Pomeranian and Chihuahua who was adopted from a rescue organization when he was a puppy.
He is 5 years old and lives in downtown Miami Lakes with his family, Alejandra Boyero, her fiancé Matias Ibarra, her brother Gabriel Boyero and mother Maty Carcache.
“He’s everybody’s baby,” Alejandra Boyero said.
Since moving to Miami Lakes in February from the Brickell area, Mickey begins and ends his days walking the neighborhood and visiting parks, Boyero said.
“He loves it,” she said. “It’s a treat for him.”
Mickey enjoys interacting with people and their pets, too.
“When he sees other dogs, he freaks out, in a good way,” she said.
