  U.S. Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart recently honored students at Mater Lakes Academy for recording perfect scores on the FCAT. He also recognized principal Rene Rovirosa for saving the life of student Devon Octave, who went into cardiac arrest on October 31. Diaz-Balart is joined by students Mercedes Ferreira-Dias, Ana Otero, Gillian Peraza, Nya Segura-Watson, Mateo Alzate, Adhm Farid and Rovirosa.
