On April 8, two Hialeah Miami Lakes (HML) students, Erik Fernandez and Naomi Valdez, were honored at a ceremony recognizing the achievements of athletes in Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The Coding Doctors Kids Club held their fundraiser on May 21. The club was looking to raise money to buy a bundle of VEX robots.
