Education Wednesday, November 4, 2015

Angels Reach Academy for Divergent Learners may be the “new kid on the block” with its new school year just opening at 12051 Okeechobee Road, but the school staff is experienced at having a fun time with the community.

On Saturday, November 14, Angels Reach will host a Fall Festival and Craft Show that is free for the entire community. There will be food trucks, bounce houses for the kids, music from MEGA 94.9, and lots of craft vendors. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. rain or shine.

Vendor spots are still available by calling 754-215-2868.

Attendees will also have a chance to see the new facility and learn about Angels Reach Academy for Divergent Learners, a combined school and clinical facility that is home to a unique, inclusive school program for typical learners, special needs, gifted and learning disabled students.

The school accepts McKay, Step Up for Students, Personal Learning Scholarships and insurance, where appropriate. The facility serves children K-8th grade and plans to open a pre-school division in 2016.
