Annual Reindeer Run benefits veterans scholarship program

  The Reindeer Run 5K presented by Headquarter Toyota to benefit the Miami Lakes Veterans Committee attracted runners to Business Park West and Veterans Park on Dec. 14. The veterans use funds raised for the Miami Lakes Veterans Families Scholarship as well as other projects in town. During the opening ceremonies for the race, officials displayed a $10,000 from the committee that represented proceeds from the 2023 run that will go toward scholarships, Veterans Committee Chair William Perez said.
