Catholic Hospice hosts 'Summer Getaway'

Catholic Hospice is inviting residents to participate in a “Summer Getaway” fundraiser to benefit its “Wishes Granted” program which is available to hospice patients that have a significant situation or wish.

The program’s mission is to allow patients with terminal illness the opportunity to fulfill their last wish, whether it is a special dinner with a loved one, a milestone birthday or anniversary celebration, outings to area attractions, home repairs, or even a spa/beauty day.

The “Summer Getaway” is scheduled at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, at Ramada Inn-49th Street in Hialeah. Tickets are $30 presale and $35 at the door, per person, and includes appetizers, drinks and one raffle ticket.
