Miami-Dade County Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. (District 13) presented a Harvest Festival on Sunday, November 2, to kick off the weekly Farmers Market at Amelia Earhart Park.
The event featured vendors selling fresh produce, plants, herbs and other local foods, as well as live entertainment, games, contests, free pony rides, a petting zoo and animal adoptions.
The new Farmers Market will be held every Sunday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the park, 401 E. 65 Street, in Hialeah. For more information, call Bovo’s office at 305-820-8424.
