Former Miami Dolphins cornerback Don McNeal, Dade Christian School and the FACE Foundation present the 21st annual Don McNeal Celebrity Golf Classic scheduled for Monday, May 4, at Don Shula’s Golf Club, 7601 Miami Lakes Drive.

Proceeds from the golf classic will benefit the Fund for the Advancement of Community and Education (FACE), a sheltering umbrella for New Testament Baptist Church, Dade Christian School, and the Master’s Academy.

“Being a part of the Miami Dolphins and playing in front of the fans for 10 seasons brought me great joy,” said McNeal. “Since leaving professional football, I am now an assistant in counseling at New Testament Baptist Church and have the pleasure of mentoring the young men and women at Dade Christian School.”

The golf classic allows participants to tee off alongside former Dolphins players including Bob Brudzinski, Jeff Dellenback, John Offerdahl, Mark Duper, Mercury Morris and Tony Nathan.

Participants will play a full round of golf, enjoy lunch catered by Outback Steakhouse, attend an awards ceremony and banquet dinner at Shula’s Steakhouse and receive special prizes and giveaways including two hole-in-one contests.

One of the lucky winners will receive a three-year lease on a new automobile courtesy of the Gus Machado car dealership.

Thursday, April 30 is the deadline to register for the golf classic.
