Goleman student Christopher Prophete wins National Merit Scholarship

 Barbara Goleman Senior High School Senior Christopher Prophete is a National Merit Scholar, the school announced. Prophete, 18, will receive $2,500 to be applied to tuition at a school that is in the National Merit College Program. The scholarship is awarded to students based on their Preliminary SAT score. The high school announced in the fall that Prophete was a finalist. He will receive his scholarship when he graduates high school this spring, Goleman said.
