Members of the Town Council attended a ceremony on April 28 where Florida Governor Rick Scott recognized several officers from Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami with Medals of Heroism. Miami Lakes Officer Edwin Ramos was honored for his participation in rescuing an unconscious man from a crashed vehicle.
