Graham Companies and Main Street Merchants announce Banner Art Contest winners

The Graham Companies and Main Street Merchants announced the winners of “Best Day Ever” Main Street Banner Art Contest.
With over 300 submissions, only 26 pieces of art could be selected to be showcased on the light poles along Main Street. The submissions were judged by more than 50 individuals with a selection of the top piece of work based on Elementary, Middle and High School groups.
The top Elementary School submission was from Bob Graham Education Center student Elizabeth Grace Roque.
The selected top Middle School submissions was created by Miami Lakes Middle School student Anabella Calles with her artwork titled “Hoo Visited My School.”
The top High School submission was artwork created by Miami Lakes Educational Center student Nicole Perez.
The overall winners from grades K-5 included Delilah Caceres, Jonathan Cid, Gabriel Diaz, Allison Estelles, Isabella Garcia, Amanda Martinez, Anabel Ramirez, Christopher Rodriguez, Elizabeth Grace Roque and Valerie Valdes.
The overall winners from grades 6-8 included Anabelle Calles, Aniya Forbes, Amber Gavcie, Helen Gomez, Jadel Guerrero, Layla Jackson-Yanez, Ce’Mone Jose, Camyr Maddy, Salma Petron and Kamryn Turner.
The overall high school winners included Kylie Caplin, Juliet Feros, Josh Matias, Nicole Perez, Valentina Serrano and Raiza Torres.
The Graham Companies expressed its appreciation to Bob Graham Education Center, Miami Lakes K-8 Center, Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School, Miami Lakes Middle School, Miami Lakes Educational Center and Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High for supporting the art contest with involvement from their art teachers and students.
