In Memoriam: Richard C. Geisland Sr.

Richard C. Geisland Sr., longtime Miami Lakes resident and successful local real estate broker, passed away at home in Ft. Lauderdale on March 25, surrounded by family. 

Geisland was born on May 1, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio. He began his sales career with Proctor & Gamble in Illinois, moving from Ohio to Indiana and finally to Florida, where he transitioned to real estate. 

Geisland was a local real estate broker for 21 years before retiring to Ft. Lauderdale. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy and his four children, Richard Jr. and wife, Kim; Gary; Catherine and husband, Ian Riley; and Debi and husband, Scott Leary; six grandchildren and dog, Honey. Celebration services were held at Fred Hunters in Davie on April 2.
