Intensity Dancers’ Studio, located at 15507 Bull Run Road in Miami Lakes, participated in Kids Artistic Revue (KAR) in Panama City in late June as the final competition for the season. The group competed against studios from around the nation and earned top results in several categories.

Chloe Pineiro won the title of “Miss Dance America” and Katie Camero and Kandis Terry were first and second runners-up, respectively. Marirosa Crawford won the title of “Miss Teen Dance America.” Madison Fernandez and Samantha Manrique were third and fifth runners-up for the title of “Miss Petite Dance America.”

Additionally Intensity Dancers’ Studio groups “We Like to Party,” “Snow,” “Hit It Up” and “Loneliness” were all named first overall winners in a variety of group categories such as Petite Large Group Competition, Teen Large Group Competition, Senior Small Group Competition and Showcase Finals.

“Our studio scored higher at Nationals this year than it had ever scored in the past,” said instructor Marisa Bidegaray. “We'd like to think that this has to do with the love and respect these girls have for each other. Our team captains Katie Camero and Kandis Terry played a big part too. We were especially excited to win in the senior division. The talent was incredible. Most of these girls have been dancing together for 10 years. It was a beautiful way to end the season and say goodbye to our wonderful seniors.”
