Miami Lakes Veterans Committee announced the local businesses that have agreed to participate in the Veterans Job Fair scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at Roberto Alonso Community Center, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue.
The Job Fair is open to veterans and businesses in Miami-Dade County and aims to support both past and present veterans with employment opportunities.
Businesses that will be participating include Andy Frain Services, Air Force Reserve, Career Source South Florida, Casavana, Caterpillar, Catholic Hospice, Creative Staffing, Florida National University, The Graham Companies, Miami-Dade Police Department, Saxon Business Systems, Select Engineered Systems, South Florida Maintenance, and United Parcel Service.
Veterans interested in attending are reminded to bring copies of a valid Driver’s License, a DD-214 that shows the type of discharge or equivalent for National Guard/Reserve, and a resume.
