M-D Schools honor BGEC volunteer Daylin Garcia

Daylin Garcia, a volunteer and member of the Bob Graham Education Center PTSA, was recently honored during a special luncheon at Jungle Island by Miami-Dade Public Schools for being an outstanding volunteer. She received the award from Superintendent Alberto Carvalho. “Daylin goes way beyond the call of duty to ascertain that school volunteers are lined up for events, helps out in the office and even maintains the Facebook account for our school,” said BGEC principal Yecenia Martinez-Lopez. “These are just a few of the wonderful things that Daylin does at BGEC and always with a smile.”
