The scavenger hunt began at My Gym: Kids picked up a sheet of clues that sent them hopping to downtown shops, where they figured out a riddle or completed a challenge to win a sticker and perhaps a sweet or a prize. Once they collected all 14 stickers, the young hunters returned to My Gym and swapped them for plastic eggs filled with toys and a coupon card to use at participating businesses.

During their searches and visits to stores, there were stops to dance with the Easter Bunny, pose at photo stations, make crafts, get their faces painted and enjoy snacks.

Many competitors came with their own rabbit ears and buckets or bags.

Amanda Saltiel-Montilla, owner of My Gym who co-organized the hunt on the afternoon of April 4, said, “It was a success and so much fun! We look forward to next year’s event with even more activities and surprises for everyone.”

Participating businesses and sponsors included BBs Bakehouse; Quest Martial Arts Academy; Styles Miami Boutique; Bon Vivant Charcuterie & Gourmet Market; Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids; Bossy Wellness & Aesthetics; LMG Mane; Drop Boutique; 1910 Restaurant & Bar; Snow’s Jewelers; Pizza Scene; Dunkin’; Acai Express and The Graham Companies.
