Mater Academy's softball team wins Class 8A District title

The Mater Academy High softball team won the 2016 Class 8A District Championship last month, defeating Ronald W. Reagan High to win their second consecutive division title. The Lady Lions lost to Hollywood’s McArthur, 13-3, in the Regional quarterfinal match-up last week.
