Mater Lakes Academy partnered with Sunny Isles Police Department to show support for finding a cure and spreading Breast Cancer Awareness on October 28. Award-winning law enforcement officer, Corporal Melissa Porro, with the Sunny Isles Police Department is pictured with Mater Lakes Academy's PTSO President, Barbie Zino. The pink patrol car was stationed in front of the campus during the morning drop off. Parents, students, staff and security were all smiles as they passed the vehicle. “Moments like these are what my make my PTSO position all worth my time and effort. Our community united for another great cause,” said Zino.
