Miami Lakes 16th annual July 4th concert starts at 6:30 p.m. at Picnic Park West followed by fireworks

Miami Lakes and its Cultural Affairs Committee will host the 16th annual Fourth of July Concert and Fireworks Shop beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 4, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Sponsored by The Graham Companies and Florida National University, the event will feature live performances by Abraham Ruiz, Glenda Anders and Birdman’s Clambake,
Food Truck Round Ups will provide such vendors as Kona Ice, Miami Pizza, All Stars, Cjilling Out, El Punto Puruano, Miami Roasted Corn, Fort Lauderdogs, Mi Pana Burger and El Maguey On The Road.
The night will end with a spectacular fireworks presentation over Graham Dairy Lake.
The event is free and open to all ages. Attendees should bring blankets, chairs and appetites for a happy Independence Day celebration.
Note: Alcohol, fireworks and pets are not permitted in Picnic Park West.
Parking at Picnic Park West and the surrounding area is limited. The Town will be providing free Freebee shuttle services starting at 5:30 p.m. from Town Hall, 6601 Main Street, running continuously every 20 minutes, and from Royal Oaks Park, 16500 N.W. 87 Avenue, running continuously every 10 minutes.
Freebee services will resume after the fireworks show with the last shuttle departing Picnic Park West at 11 p.m.
