Miami Lakes Congregational Church honors Rosa N. Hammer in 100th year

Members and friends of Miami Lakes Congregational Church-UCC (MLCC) paid tribute to long time member and Miami Lakes resident Rosa Nell Hammer during a special observance of her 100th birth year.
Hammer was commemorated at a special luncheon at Trattoria Pampered Chef on April 27 where she was presented with a Resolution of Milestone by the MLCC Council. On April 28 during Worship Services, she received a Certificate of Recognition from Miami Lakes Mayor Manny Cid and Councilmember Luis Collazo.
A reception honoring Hammer was held following the service. The 100th Birthday Commemoration took place during MLCC’s second annual “JOY” (Jesus’ Older Youth) Celebration weekend.
