The Miami Lakes K-8 Center Music Department prepared music students for the Center's Annual Spring Concert. The middle school orchestra, guitar and chorus presented "A Collage of Classics." Under the direction of Fine Arts chairperson, Sara Cino, the middle school musicians performed “Hey Jude,” “All My Loving,” “Yellow Submarine,” “Morning Mood,” “Anitra’s Dance,” “Antagonist,” “Blackbird” and many more. Under the direction of music teacher, Mario Ortiz, the concert concluded with the elementary chorus singing and dancing to “It’s Education,” “It’s a Small World,” “This Land is Your Land,” “Continents and Oceans Song,” “50 Nifty United States,” “States and Capitals Song,” and “Outstanding Citizen.” The audience labeled the performances a huge success.
