Mother of Our Redeemer students raise funds for St. Jude Foundation

Community Thursday, December 4, 2014

Mother of Our Redeemer (MOR) Catholic School’s preschoolers have raised over $4,000 for the St. Jude Foundation and they are just getting started. The tiniest students are making the largest impact in the community for children with cancer by raising funds for cancer research and treatment.

The children rode their tricycles, bikes, and scooters in MOR’s First Trike-A-Thon on November 20. When they finished with their laps, they proudly rode into the school courtyard and were cheered on by all of the older students in support of their loving work for the good of others.  Donations can still be made on the school's website at www.moorsch.org by clicking on the St. Jude link.

School administrators thank the preschool teachers and room moms for all their hard work and dedication to support this event. MOR Catholic School has been serving the community for over 10 years by providing elementary and middle school children in with an enriched Catholic education.

The school, known as a “Small School with a Big Heart” is now accepting new student applications for the 2015-2016 school year.  The school is located at 8445 N.W. 186 St. For more information contact the school office at 305-829-3988.
