New Testament Baptist Church students compete in Truth and Training games

Ten Florida churches participated in the T&T (Truth and Training) AwanaGames that were held on March 8 at Grace Baptist Church in Pompano Beach.

New Testament Baptist Church’s younger team, which includes 5, 1st and 2nd graders, won 3rd place in the Sparks-a-Rama. They competed in the Sparky Crawl, Sparky Bowl, Bean Bag In and Out, Rabbit Hunt, Sparky Train and Balloon Pop.

New Testament took first place in the boys and girls combined AwanaGames. The students are 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th graders. They competed in 10 events including the Bean Bag Relay, Sprint Relay, Bean Bag Bonanza, 3-Legged Race, Sprint Race, 4-Way Tug, Knock It Down, Marathon Relay, Marathon Race and Balloon Relay.

The coaches were Derek Rodriguez, Miguel Fundora and James Gordon.
