New town logo celebrates quarter century of incorporation

     The Town of Miami Lakes will mark its 25th year as a municipality this year when it incorporated and separated from Miami-Dade County.

     The town unveiled a new logo on Sept. 3 to celebrate the milestone. There are two versions: the one shown above that acknowledges the town’s dairy farm history and tree canopy, and a second one that is gray and white that also incorporates the number 25, landscape, wildlife and slogan. Town of Miami Lakes Marketing and Digital Services Specialist Ydalis Navarro designed them both.

     A committee comprised of the leaders of the dozen volunteer committees in town is making plans for a party on Dec. 6 to happen at Veterans Park.
