Students representing Archdiocesan middle schools participated in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School’s Annual Leadership Workshop on March 28. Participants included student leaders from St. Mary, St. James, and St. Rose of Lima schools, as well as the host school.
Guest speaker for the day was Judge Bertila Soto, Chief Circuit Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. She shared words of wisdom as to what is needed to be a good leader in today’s world.
Students were also led through different sessions that focused on good leadership qualities. The mission of the event is to encourage student leaders to use the lessons learned and reinforced at the workshop and become productive leaders in the community.
