Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic School in Miami Lakes first opened its doors back in 1986 when it began the construction and vision of a K-8 school. Fast forward 30 plus years and the school has welcomed thousands of graduates and countless families.

“As a parent and supporter of the church and school for more than 30 years, I was honored to be tasked with the role of Director of Community Relations and Alumni. It was through Father Alvarez’s vision that we have been able to begin the OLL Alumni Program,” said Elsa Reus. “Our goal is to build a future at our school by reuniting past and current alumni with their Catholic roots.”

On January 11, the first Alumni Reunion was held at the school’s gymnasium which welcomed over 100 past alumni and their families to join the community in a special mass and reception. Attendees were able to review past yearbooks, photos, and displays as well as partake in a school tour, learn more about upcoming enrollment and leave their mark on the OLL Alumni Wall. The event included alumni from 1993 through 2014.
