Continuing our exploration of the east side office and industrial park, where Northwest 153 Street curves to meet Miami Lakeway North, there are four buildings.
They are home to Precision Tech Aero, Inc., which manufactures airplane parts; Master Tool Co., which makes polymer products for a variety of industries; Kid’s Choice Learning Center and the Miami Lakes Corporate Plaza, which has more than 30 tenants.
Commercial Realtor Melisa Aponte from The Keyes Company Miami Lakes said the mix of light industry, businesses and services in one spot is a great example of what’s available in Miami Lakes.
“It’s a little bit of everything [and] it allows you to do all the things you need to do,” Aponte said.
Kids can be dropped off at VPK or other nearby schools, parents can work and run errands and there is also easy access to restaurants at the nearby Lake Katharine and Lake Patricia shopping centers.
“Within our community, we have everything we need,” Aponte said.
Major highways less than three miles in any direction are attractive to industrial firms’ shipping needs but also allow customers to reach town services, she said.
A future benefit for the area will be when a bridge is built to connect Northwest 59th Avenue; drivers will be able to travel over a canal from Miami Lakes Drive/Northwest 154th Street to Northwest 167th Street.
“We’re going to have additional flow into our community business-wise, so other businesses and vendors will have easy access to us,” Aponte said.
Kid’s Choice Learning Center is owned by Candil Kids Center.
The largest building is the four-story Miami Lakes Corporate Plaza, at the corner of Northwest 153rd Street, which is owned and managed by Ashton Partners.
