Our Neighborhoods: The Promenade Building

Community By Alexandra Herrera, Reporter Wednesday, January 5, 2022

Located just two blocks from Main Street Miami Lakes is The Promenade building

The four-story professional building on Northwest 67th Avenue has two medical offices, two law firms, a Painting with a Twist franchise and a salon with multiple tenant-stylists.

There are currently 15 tenants in the building with only two vacancies, according to Philip Wyllie, commercial leasing manager for The Graham Companies.

The Promenade offers office spaces that range between 2,912-square-feet to 20,609-square-feet. Suite 300 takes up the entire third floor and has a special amenity, according to Wyllie.

“It was a former call center, and many times call centers want back-up generators because they need to stay operational after a hurricane, so the previous tenant installed one,” Wyllie said.

Other features include impact windows, abundant parking and being within walking distance to the Town Center and restaurants and stores along Main Street.

The building is located at 15100 NW 67th Ave. and is owned by The Graham Companies. It was built in 2000 by Pinnacle Construction.

Like many Graham properties it has a water feature:  A large fountain at the entrance.

There is also an arch above the double door entrance which has the building name.

The building has a creamy yellow exterior with white trim and large windows.

Three elevators deliver employees and visitors to their destinations.

On the first floor is Salon X, filled with tenants who offer beauty services to men and women, including hair, skin and nail care.

Inside Salon X, in Room 124, Miami Laker Ilsa Castro owns Ilsa Hair Studio.

Castro says she lives about five minutes from the building and loves it.  She prefers having space within Salon X to having a chair in a traditional salon, and said she was excited when it opened two years ago.

“It’s more intimate,” Castro said. “You don’t have to be with other clients, [my clients] feel more comfortable.”

Other businesses in the building include CMS Diagnostic Services, a radiology center; a satellite office for the Early Learning Coalition of Miami-Dade/Monroe; Gonzalez Group USA American Income Life Division Latina; Healing Touch C&C Medical Center; Miami Podiatry Clinic; Express Dental, Inc.; Miami International Cardiology ConsultantsSteszewski Medina P.A.; Kelley, Kronenberg Attorneys at Law and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration/General Services Administration.
