Pace flag football team captures District title; on to regional games

Monsignor Edward Pace’s flag football team won the district championship last week with a 28-0 shut out victory over Barbara Goleman. The Spartans defeated Miami Norland High, 26-0, in the district semifinal, and Mater Lakes Academy in the quarterfinals. Pace advanced to the regional tournament, which started May 2, hoping to make an appearance in the Florida High School Flag Football State Championships, Saturday, May 11 at Boca Raton High School.
