Say hello to Coco! He’s a 1-year-old Shiba Inu, owned by Alejandro Simon of Miami Lakes.
Simon found Coco on Craig’s List.
“I wanted a companion,” Simon said. “I wasn’t looking for a fancy breed. He turned out to be a great dog.”
They became fast friends.
Simon lives downtown and walks Coco five times a day in the neighborhood and around Graham Park.
“My son Alex, who is 10, loves him,” Simon said.
Coco also enjoys rides in Simon’s Jeep, chasing lizards or anything that moves and playing with bigger dogs.
“When he is out of the house, he is super happy,” Simon said. “He’s only 20 pounds but he doesn’t know it.”
