Stitch is a lucky boy who has a caring family. He lives with Lisandra Abreu and her fiancé Chris Locke, and is her daughter Yami Asaad’s pet.
Locke works from home and is able to dote on the 15-year-old Pomeranian-Shih Tzu mixed breed boy.
“He is like a child and requires a lot of care,” Locke says. “He is very sweet, loveable and exerts energy only when absolutely necessary.”
Though he weighs just 10 pounds, Stitch is king of the house. There are four dog beds, but he prefers to sleep on the couch, Locke said.
“He basically runs the house,” said Locke, a member of the Miami Lakes Veterans Committee.
Stitch’s favorite toys are Lamb Chop, an owl, an elephant and a donut.
