Cardholders with the Miami-Dade Public Library system may now borrow 8” Samsung Galaxy tablets, which are built with wireless internet access and Wi-Fi capability.
Borrowers may use the tablets for up to 30 days per loan.
The tablets will come with a kit of accessories including a keyboard case, power adapter and USB cables. To check availability of the devices, search the system’s catalog online or call your local branch.
The tablets may be used for work, school and browsing. There are preloaded apps, which include those for social media, schedules and the library.
Tablet users may access online learning, eBooks, audiobooks, movies and other offerings.
