Members and friends of Miami Lakes Congregational Church welcomes their new senior pastor, Rev. Keith Scott, on Sunday, March 5.
The congregation got to chat with Rev. Scott, who hails from Chicago, up close and personal during Candidate’s Weekend at an all-church pot luck luncheon on Saturday, January 21.
The luncheon and camaraderie was enjoyed by participants of all ages, and the event proved to be a grand success. Rev. Scott led Morning Worship on Sunday, January 22, which included his trial sermon. His first official day is Wednesday, March 1 and will lead his first Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 5.
