The Miami Lakes Economic Development Committee and the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce came together on Sept. 27 at Chela’s Cocteleria to celebrate attorney Norma Lorenzo’s business success. Lorenzo, an immigration lawyer, merged her firm Hermanni & Lorenzo Law Group with Alexandra Lozano Immigration Law, PLLC, at 15485 Eagle Nest Lane.

Lozano is a Houston-based immigration attorney who has several offices in the United States and in Mexico. “You can start small and really take it big,” said Economic Development Committee Chair Matthew Casamayor. Lorenzo and Lozano cut a ribbon to signify the start of the new entity before checking out Lozano’s tour bus.

“I cannot wait to continue working for this community,” Norma Lorezno said.
