Miami Lakes Cultural Affairs Committee will host the annual “Paint a Picture for Mom” event just before Mother’s Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
Children of all ages will have the opportunity to be creative and paint something special for their moms. Canvas, brushes and paint will be provided free of charge.
This year’s event will also include a Craft and Flower Show. Flower and plant vendors must provide proof of applicable licenses, Certificate of Insurance, and a $25 vendor fee. Space is limited. For vendor information and application, visit www.miamilakes-fl.gov/cac.
