Alvin Murray President, Miami Lakes United Soccer Club Miramar
“So the winter Olympics for me is going to curling,” Alvin Murray said. “It’s a new sport for me. I’ve always seen it but fortunately or unfortunately, I got to see it on TV while I was on a plane and I couldn’t come off of that channel. The United States was playing up against I think Korea, and it was super exciting. I am looking forward to watching more of that.”
Natalie Ravelo Agent and Financial Professional, New York Life Miami Lakes
“I love the skating,” Natalie Ravelo said. “It brings back memories from when I was a child, because that was the only channel that we were able to watch. Skiing [as well], it’s so daring and brave, I would never.”
Jerry Menendez Senior Vice President, Retail Market Manager TD Bank Country Club
“Ultimately I like summer Olympics a whole lot better than winter Olympics, but I will say the opening ceremony with Mariah Carey was amazing,” Jerry Menendez said. “I’m a huge fan. I like the skiing and the figure skating. The U.S. represents us extremely well there and I like keeping an eye on those sports.”
Jackie Diaz Business Development Manager, All Uniform Wear, Miami
“I love the ice dancing, I think because you can see the story they’re trying to portray, whether it’s romantic or something else, it just gives you a moment of magic,” Jackie Diaz said.
Rebeca Scorza Realtor Associate, The Keyes Company Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes
“I love the winter Olympics, even if I have never skied before,” Rebeca Scorza said in Spanish. “I like the ice dancing a lot. All the moves they do are amazing, it’s beautiful. The perfection that they do it with, they look like one person moving.”
