UCC Women host annual Spring Tea

UCC Women of Miami Lakes Congregational Church, “Doers of the Word,” hosted its 11th annual Spring Tea on May 11 in the Fellowship Hall at 6701 Miami Lakeway South.
“Tea by the Sea” was this year’s theme to commemorate life in South Florida. The event highlighted iconic ocean, sea and beach scenes adorned with assorted tea ware.
In addition to great food and prizes, guests were also treated to a multi-generational Fashion Show with piano accompaniment by Teresa Lesick and entertainment by three-generation singers featuring mother, daughter and granddaughter Karen House, Keenya Robertson and Lena Robertson. Ruby Holihan kept things moving as the program’s emcee.
