Miami Lakes United Soccer Club participated in its first Thanksgiving food drive in support of ending hunger with Feeding South Florida.
Teams contributed non-perishable donations with a Thanksgiving theme in mind through November 15 at Royal Oaks Park. Items collected included canned green beans, corn, sweet potatoes, carrots, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie filling, and boxed mashed potatoes, all of which, with the partnership of Feeding South Florida, will satisfy hungry mouths this holiday season.
