Miami Lakes Vice Mayor Manny Cid was invited to participate in the Florida League of Cities 54th annual Legislative Conference as a panelist in the “Engaging Millennials” workshop.
The second the League’s annual meetings, the conference sets legislative policies and priorities for the upcoming session of the Legislature. Over the course of the two-day meeting, attendees heard speakers at general sessions, participated in workshops and attended legislative policy committee meetings.
“I was honored to be a panelist during this very dynamic discussion that focused on developing tomorrow’s leaders,” said Cid.
The Florida League of Cities is the united voice for Florida’s municipal governments. Its goals are to serve the needs of Florida’s cities and promote local self-government.
