Miami Lakes Youth Activities Task Force is inviting residents and their families to get into the holiday spirit for the showing of Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas on Friday, December 16, beginning at 7:30 p.m.. at Miami Lakes Picnic Park West, 15151 N.W. 82 Avenue.
This Academy Award-winning film by Ron Howard stars Jim Carrey in his portrayal of the Grinch who lives on the outskirts of Whoville, and plans on ruining the Christmas holiday for all the citizens of the town.
Attendees are reminded to bring blankets and chairs and are encouraged to bring an unwrapped toy for children 12 and under that will be donated to children in need.
The 2017 Bella Mar Real Estate Group Movies in the Park Series kicks off on January 6 with the showing of The Secret Life of Pets, a 3D animated film about the lives that pets lead when their humans are not around.
