GFWC Women's Club of Hialeah holds celebration brunch in June

Community Wednesday, June 19, 2019

On June 1, the GFWC Woman's Club of Hialeah held a celebration brunch to honor their past presidents, former and lifetime members, community bunco buddies and current and prospective members.
It was an afternoon of laughter and sharing as past presidents as far back as 1996-1998 shared their experiences and accomplishments with those in attendance. This organization has been a vital part of the City of Hialeah and Miami Lakes, PSN and Northwest Dade since 1922, when it was founded by Lua Curtis with the thought to establish libraries in the community.
The Club is open to all women (and men) who are interested in serving their community on a local, national or international basis across the areas of Education, Arts, Conservation, Home Life, Public Affairs and International Outreach.
Meetings are held once a month from August/September through May with additional special events for family and the community. For information and to be added to their mailing list, contact president, Barbara Hassall at 305-469-4499.
