Former Miami Lakes resident and 2005 valedictorian for Hialeah Miami Lakes Senior High School, Karla Albite is celebrating her most recent accomplishments, graduating magna cum laude from the University of Miami’s Law School and accepting a job in Chicago with Sidley Austin, a nationally ranked firm.
Albite was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Miami Law Review during 2014-2015, was a member of the nationally ranked Charles C. Papy Jr. Moot Court Board, and worked with entering students as a Dena’s Fellow.
Albite graduated with her bachelor’s in Political Science and Economics at the University of Notre Dame and worked with Teach for America as a middle school teacher in Nashville before attending law school.
