Miami Lakes is 3rd Safest City in Miami-Dade County

The National Council for Home Safety and Security has designated the Town of Miami Lakes the No. 3 Safest City in Miami-Dade County. Mayor Manny Cid made the announcement adding the Town was listed No. 12 Safest in South Florida, and No. 26 Safest in the State of Florida out of 400 cities in the Safest Cities in Florida list for 2018. “Our goal is to be in the Top 10 next year as we begin to take even stronger measures to deter crime, thanks to our Police Department and law enforcement officials,” he said.
