Town of Miami Lakes is inviting the community to join officials and staff for the grand opening of the new Youth Center at Park East, also known as “The Spot, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 21.
The grand opening event will be complete with an afternoon of amusements, music, food, giveaways and fun for the whole family.
The Youth Center, located at 6075 Miami Lakes Drive, is a 4,000 square-foot facility with multipurpose activities rooms, a classroom area for after school educational programs and tutoring, and an outdoor patio area with a half basketball court and a new state-of-the-art playground.
